GPS map upgrade

Anyone know how/where to get an upgrade and cost? Any experience in uploading/installing it? I use mine a lot for work and have to use my phone instead many times as the installed one on my Lariat is really out of date.

I watched some YouTube and discovered I’m on Sync 3, Version 3.4, Build 22200, with Map 2 21. Is this the latest? Thanks for ur comments Senior Master Ford Guy.

Check your for pass app, no sure but was thinking you can download ford's latest Sync3 and Navigation updates to your pc. Then copy them to a usb drive to update the truck. Might be wrong, seemed like i read or saw something to that affect a while back.

@fossil. Streets not listed, two year old developments shown as blank when in them. Many, many established POIs don’t appear, kind of frustrated.

sounds like a warranty issue to me as it was delivered out of date.

I haven't updated my truck for 10 years and it appears better than your new one.
