I got a little better than that on a similarly short, slow trip.

That is a LOONG School zone LOL you averaged 19.5 MPH

Don't have a picture of the Trip at fillup. Worst so far 26.7 mpg.

Half tank fillup - about to enter IL where prices were decently higher than MO, so almost all 65/75 mph highway and heater in construction areas over to St Louis.
Next fillup coming out, tad better - like those IL roads, at least down south in Ozarks.

Recently finished an interstate highway trip from SC to NJ to OH, then back to SC. Between the bed and the cabin I had about 500 lbs extra weight until OH, then drove a fairly empty truck the last 625 miles home. Drove over 1700 miles at mostly 65-75 mph and hovered around 35 mpg over all 3 legs of the trip. It wasn't a big change but the lower weight on the way back didn't have a noticeable effect on fuel usage, with wind drag and more ICE time being the main factors lowering mpg. Truck did great and I was happy with everything about it on this trip.

I can get it down to 8.6L/100km (27.3mpg) with no trailer or extra wind drag with the cruise set at 145km/hr (90mph)
