Now that you have your vin you can lock in a loan.

He will be eligible for which ever is better....the rates on the day he ordered in December or the day he buys it. Likely December rates. I was able to get 0.9% on a 48 month loan using last July's rates (the date I placed my order). Just make sure your salesperson knows that this is available to you. He needs to go into the "Smart Vincent" Ford software and put in the date of your order to see what the rates were and that you are eligible for.

Decided to chat with ford since I didn’t get the latest email and I have a VIN and production date of 10/3. 9/20 Hybrid XLT Cactus Gray Lux 360 Moonroof and sliding rear window. Nice little surprise but wonder why I never got an email update on it.

here's what happened after I got my VIN
sched date: 6/20 -> 6/27 -> 7/15 -> 8/2 -> 8/15 -> (an actual build-to day) 8/18 ... and now -> 8/25
In Production -> Order Confirmed
VIN and window sticker still there though
ordered 9/24/21
Hybrid XL w/ copilot & rear sliding window

Wow our timelines are really close. Add 6/13 and our timelines would match up exactly. And original order date was 9/22.

Had rates already gone up by 12/26? I thought the 0/.9/1.9/3.9 promotional rates were still in place for all MY22 orders.

They are! I ordered Jan. 25 and incentive rates were still in effect. They didn't change until Feb. 1.
