I finally got a VIN

So after 7 months I made a phone call the crc. They told me that it was slated for April. What ever. At this point whats another 4 months.

Then suddenly I received an email from my dealer. With a vin number finally....the only problem is that my salesman only gave me 16 numbers. So I can't even track it yet....sigh...

I have some questions maybe somebody can answer them.

1:. So now that I have a vin. What's the timeline to get a production date?

2:. Can someone tell me why they removed the spray in bed liner from the the lux package. When on the ford.ca website. I can order the liner as an option as long as the lux package is not selected. This makes no sense to me.

Hopefully I get the correct vin number tomorrow and can track my build.

1. Seems like you got a build in April. If all goes well you will see your truck the first week or two of May. It is entirely possible for a 4 week build delay plus 1-2 months delay for chips and 1 month stuck at the rail yard. With the possible delays you could see it in August (worst case scenario). I’m not trying to disappoint you. Just don’t want to get you excited for a May delivery and it takes 4 more months.

2. All orders are closed. The online builder tool is just there to get ideas. Since we can’t order any more trucks, we definitely can’t still get a spray in bed liner.
