Creative Ideas for Screen Side Storage
My plan for the cubby is to make a custom magnetic phone mount. I don't have a Maverick yet so I'll have to wait until I get one to see exactly how I'm going to do it. Of course a phone won't fit inside of the cubby but my plan is to have a magnetic mount sticking out a little so my phone will basically block the cubby and be in view next to the infotainment system.

TBH my hope is that it will be something as easy as just fitting something like one of these into the cubby:

But if something like that doesn't work or if I don't like how it looks then I will fabricate something for a clean look.
I'll definitely post here with my ideas once I actually have a Maverick. Unfortunately I don't know when that will be because I don't have one on order. I'm hoping to find one in stock from a local dealer within the next couple of months. But I don't need a Maverick right away, I just really want one as soon as I can find one!

Both of those mounts are good idea, the first one is going to stick way out!! The second might be more manageable, but I didn't see any measurements on the website. I've included a few pictures I took when I had the chance to see a training Maverick at my local dealership so you have a better idea of what the cubby measurements are
I'd like to put a 360° camera display there for parking in marked spots. I'm glad I have it on my SUV and it's better than squeezing the lines.
Or maybe 3d print a removable extended snack tray to share fries etc. with my wife.
