Golf Cart Drive On / Drive Up Rack on Maverick

I have this need also.

Well. Not to tow behind an RV.
I just want a 2-seat golf cart in my bed.
The golf cart is under 1000 lbs. but close to it.

And I then need a trailer on the ball hitch after the golf cart goes in so trailering the golf cart isn't an option.

I only need this arrangement once a year.

If you need it only once a year, wouldn't it be less expensive to rent a small U haul??? or do you have a long term need?

For the cost of the time and materials and the absolute pain in the rear for every time you load and unload, you can buy a brand new small garden trailer and just go. I got an 8x10 trailer from tractor supply and I use that thing all the time with my mav.

In my opinion, get the trailer, save your paint and stress.

I think no for yours. That picture looks like a toy.
Hard no for mine at nearly 1000 lbs.

I have seen a narrow cart loaded in the bed of regular ford pickup it had a lithium battery to reduce weight.

I'd image if folks load crickets and other mini golf carts into suv then back of a maverick should be easy. Either folding ramps mentioned earlier or like this ramp I've used in full size trucks to load dirt bikes and lawn tractors.

Depending on ground clearance maybe arched ramps, but the mav tailgate is low enough i doubt you'd need that.

A trailer would be a great option however I am already flat towing my Maverick four wheels down behind my RV so I can’t connect a utility trailer to the Maverick that would be a little scary if that’s even legal

A standard 2-seat golf cart is roughly 8 feet (96 inches) long. The Maverick’s bed is only 4.5 feet (54 inches). Even with the tailgate down, you only have about 6.5 feet of floor. The rear wheels of the golf cart would likely be hanging off the edge of the tailgate.

Best bet:
A 5' x 8' utility trailer. You need the 5-foot width because a 4-foot wide trailer is too tight for the wheels of most carts.

Long term need. Special Event once a year. And thousands of miles away.
