Window stops on auto up when you change from drive to reverse

My mailbox is just past my driveway on the left side of the road. I am able to pull up to it, open, get my mail and close. At that point, I hit the auto up to close the window followed by putting the car in reverse to back up so that I can go down my driveway. Every time I do this, at the moment I put the truck in reverse their is a momentary pause in the window closing before it continues. Happens every time. Anyone else had this happen? Nothing major, just very strange.. Almost like the truck software cannot do both at the same time. lol

At least your One Touch Window Up feature works!. Mine hasn't worked in a year. Been in the shop 6 times so far to figure out, just waiting now for the dealer to find me a loaner so they can try again and this time they're going to be in touch with Ford Engineering after I called Ford Canada to complain. In previous attempts on repairing the windows have worked properly for 1 to 10 days. Plus our 24 Mav Lariat Tremor is on it's 3rd battery. I think it has some serious electrical glitches or gremlins in it. I'm scared what's going to happen when I no longer have a warranty.

My 2020 Escape had a similar issue to you. Never resolved the issue. Would close, hit the top and go back down most of the way. They would reprogron and then it would happen again like you. They even gave me the procedure to reprogram, though I was not successful that often. To close the window you would have to close without auto-up finding that spot just before the top or it would go down again. Just thankfull that I lived about a 1/2 hour from a great dealership.
