Thanks for sharing this issue.

My dealer service manager asked me "what recall?" when I whipped out the letter from Ford, he hopped on his computer and found it, but said no parts available. Suggested I have it done at the next 5K oil change. Crossing my fingers I asked about the TSB on the grabby brakes. "I think it's just a software update". When the oil change was over, service manager stopped by the waiting room and said his Tech had found the bulletin and was in the process of downloading the software.

Thanks MTC buddies for keeping me one step ahead of the pros.

Right! Although I think it was for the people that had their Maverick sitting on the lot and couldn’t be sold till it was done. I was not that person just had someone on the inside hook me up.

I have 12k miles on my Maverick and received my Yeti about two weeks after having the recall done.

Got mine today. Very heavy duty, but it sure would have been cool to see it painted Hot Pepper Red.

I would certainly give up the Yeti if I could just get the parts for the recall!!! I’ve heard it all from my dealer, “yes John we have parts in stock for your recall”, “we can’t find your parts that show in stock, “FedEx only delivered parts for one side we have put in a claim”, “we will call you when we find the rest of the parts”.

I forgot all about this tumbler. Had my recall work done and kept getting FedEx notifications. I'm like I'm not clicking that link-I haven't ordered a thing LOL. What a nice surprise.

Had a package showing for delivery yesterday, USPS.
Thought it was something Dad ordered. Turns out, it was the tumbler
I was NOT expecting! A bit surprised at how heavy it is!
Dad thought I actually went and purchased it. Was surprised when I said
I did NOT order it, but recieved free, for recall work.

Agreed, except in Velocity Blue in my case!

I was actually thinking only those that could NOT get their vehicles, because of airbag recall got one.

Is the tumbler available with the Maverick recalls in Canada?

I'm about to get one done for my old Ranger think they'll give me one? It's the least they could do really given that basically I've been driving around for years with basically a fragmentation grenade in my steering wheel

I better get a Tumbler after all of this. My dealer said they couldn't get me a loaner because its not covered by the recall, so I had to pay $40 for a rental EcoScrap. Wow, that car sucks hard.
