Gas mileage reading!

Has anybody else had the issue of completely filling up the tank and getting a lot less miles until empty.
For me I used to get 450 miles to E (I drive a hybrid xlt) (no aftermarket stuff)
Now when I fill it up completely I get like 380 miles to E I’m just wanting to know if anybody else has had this problem thank you!

Yes, mine seems strangely low when I fill up as well. Like If I have 150 miles to E @ 1/4 tank, I'd think it would be 600 when full. But it shows like 450.
I also have a hybrid XLT.

Mine does the same thing. It adjusts as you drive. I guess it thinks you're only going to be able to go that far but your driving style changes it. I get about 550 per tank but it says 450 or so on a fill up.

Mine shows like 550 but it’s kind of a joke as it goes up and down rather dramatically as I drive but generally I get around 500ish

The mte calculation isn't based on the last tank but just the last hundred or two miles. And at the start it always seems to calculate conservatively before adjusting as you drive.

Mine also gives me a low estimate (450ish) upon fill up as well and adjusts as I drive. I'm averaging 520ish per tank.

The computer bases that DTE on the recent fuel mileage. I can fill my truck after mostly in town driving and it will say 380. Then get on the highway say about 65mph and it will climb up instead of going down for a while. If I fill up during a highway trip it may say 450 DTE. Mine is a EB AWD.

This is exactly my experience. My first two tanks had zero highway miles. When I filled up, my average MPG was around 45-47. MTE was 550.
THEN...I drove 8hrs r/t, and 5 was on a highway doing 80mph. My mileage was around 36. When I filled up it said I had 470 MTE.
