This feature came on only Cactus Gray Lariats. Ford wanted to reward only those who had good taste in color selection.:LOL:

Here is something else that I do not think is true ether:
Ford's promise to everyone in their Oct 21 email that gave hybrid order holders the free FITS items: "Your 2022 Maverick Hybrid pickup will be delivered next year, and rest assured that we'll continue to keep you updated."

Who feels like they have been kept updated as Ford promised?

Was not expecting to get the FITS kit since we order an Eco but it came with the truck with a letter saying good things come to those that wait- lol - With that being said the FITS system isnt really awesome- But ok will take it.

What about the internal alarm motion sensor that no one has on page 85 of owners manually. Or the missing full size spare tire.

Because they don't know what they're selling. It's that simple.

1. The Lariat Lux package was supposed to include a fullsize spare for EB engines. Didn't happen.

2. The Lariat was supposed to have rear defrost, according to the initial order guide. Didn't happen.

3. The online configurator, for MONTHS, allowed you to add the 235/65R17 tires on the Lariat for free on the FX4 wheels. Didn't happen.
Ford is a very large and sophisticated company. We need to give them a break. They can’t possibly remember all these details that they’re putting into their trucks for all us little folks out here. They have much larger things to be concerned with….like being able to track where any given $30,000 conglomeration of 100,000 parts may be within their vast ecosystem. Oh wait, they can’t do that either. Next?

Many people will always think the worse and attack the large corporations....
I work for a Ford dealership. I can confirm, left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing is commonplace and has been getting worse for the past several years.

Also Lariat was supposed to get power passenger seat.

I work for a Ford dealership. I can confirm, left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing is commonplace and has been getting worse for the past several years.
I get that communication is horrible in large companies, this is why I NEVER trust what a dealership says.
