Did you put them on correctly? People who put them at the top of the door complained of that. They are designed to be lower. The front corner by the mirror should line up with the plastic of the mirror. Here are the incorrect and correct ways. Hope that helps. (I found photos here on MTC, not trying to pick on anyone!)

i test fit them where they belong. im not an idiot and can read instructions. when fit behind the mirror, they do not fit correct. it did not follow the window trim and didnt go to the rear of the door all the way. im guessing i just got a bad mold.

Mine fit fine and I actually like the design (most members on here don't like them) I have had to put new 3m tape on a few that started to come loose though.

i had egr in channels on my 22 xl. hated them.

i also like the look of the ford ones. so thats why i got them. i have had stick on ones on several vehicles. i have super el cheapo no name brand ones on my 01 crv. avs ones on my 05 yukon. neither have had issues.

Good thing your not in idiot. I am sure all the other people here on MTC who installed them incorrectly are happy to be called an idiot. Try using the search. You can answer your own post.
Have a nice day.

Pictures would help us understand what you are describing instead of getting defensive when someone (posts pictures!) and posits a very real possibility for your issue.

Got a set of in channel EGRs. Like the way they fit and look. Easy installation.

Said nothing about it in the instructions. I pulled it off after I took Pictures.

I watched an installation video and it shows the visor to be placed exactly like you did; however, when placing the visor lower, it has about 1/4" gap where indicated by arrow (looks like crap).

According to the video, I'm placing the visor correctly. Is it possible the curvature of the visor is incorrect? Both the driver side and passenger side exhibit the exact same curve.

Thoughts?
