Ford said Maverick ineligible for X-Plan

Hope what was told by the dealer is correct and Ford was very nice on the phone. They did receive my application for the x-plan pin but had not generated one. Told her about being a DAV member and she immediately gave me an X plan pin number.

Called my dealer and he told me to hold on to it. Then I said don't they need it applied before they do the build. He said no and this is how it works. The invoice will come in with the x plan on it and will need to give him the x plan pin number at that time.

I received the PIN via Veterans Advantage and my dealer said no problem he would honor it,

Something seems wrong with your X-Plan numbers. Based on .4% under Invoice ($19,595) plus $275 admin fee the XL number should be $19,791.62. Did something change to the X-Plan?

It seems that all of the Ford Plans A/X are no longer going under invoice price.

My wife is an AutoNation employee so we got the A-Plan and that was for invoice price. The other plans shown on the printout were all higher than invoice but lower than MSRP.

We saved $504 off of MSRP which is invoice price.

Enough for a tonneau cover or another after market accessory. My calculation from the three models is about 1% or for me $310 of a Lariat, with LUX and $390 hot red pepper color. I'm thrilled with a $300.

Yeah, I mean $300 or $500 it's money saved. My 2020 F150 I saved about $4500 on.

You give him your PIN when you purchase the vehicle. I do the same with my A Plan.

Not sure as seen people post different amounts and there could be a few variations of the x-plan. On page one of this posts of the 3 trim lines it looks to be roughly 1% off mrsp.

Will add when asking if there was a difference between the 100 hares of Ford stock for over 6 months and DAV, she did not answer but said you are a DAV member. Then ask for my name spelling address and immediately gave me the pin. So again not sure until Spring when I have my 'Little Red Wagon'.

The observation was that X-plan price on the Maverick (and some other Ford models) is greater than its invoice price. X-plan is 'invoice - 0.4% + $275 admin'. So the breakeven where X-plan is better than invoice occurs at $275 / 0.4% = $68,750 invoice price (not accounting for savings on doc fees)

They said there are 2 versions of X-Plan, the family and friends which is eligible. Then XP-Plan Partner X plan which is not eligible.

I feel like this Ford employee was confusing A or Z with X-Plan

I'm getting my eligibility from DAV. Can anyone confirm Maverick is eligible from partner X-Plan?

It seems to have worked for me..

I joined the Mustang club in the summer so I could use the x-plan. After the 3 month waiting period, I got my x-plan pin and my dealer used it to generate a new order with the x-plan price.

I was told back in October that the maverick was Dav X-plan eligible. How it works put in the partners code on the Ford web site an it will generate the X-plan pricing for your partners plan.

It isnt so much that its eligible or not. Most dealers ive talked to are not honoring it. Please make sure to talk to your dealers to make sure they are taking X Plan. My dealer specifically said they were not.

Ford can direct you to a dealer that is doing the X-Plan pricing.
