Do you have ringing in the ears from gun shots etc. That qualifies you for 10% disability and then you can become a member of the DAV, which is not cheap. May not help now but even a 10% disability is a little coin and depending on state qualifies you for lower real estate taxes to discount at many places showing your VA disability health services card.

I am 20% compensated but that does not get me the $500.00 b I have an x plan pin from Veterans Advantage that my dealer will honor. I use the VA CBOC for all my medical care and prescriptions both related to my disability and unrelated. GOD Bless the VA.
