Please share your recommendations. I have a couple good cards with 1.75% cash back, and 3% cash back (on some items)... but getting 3.33% CASH back PLUS Fordpoints from this one for the first $6000 spent in a year is the best I've found in a free card.

Totally not interested in any rewards other than cash/statement credit, but if you can recommend a card with better than this, please let us know.
Fidelity Rewards card 2% back on everything, no limit, simple. Nothing to track or keep track of. No annual fee😀👍🏽, Does require you open an account with Fidelity Investments, easy.

Thanks for the info. I did look it up and I see No Annual Fee and interest is from 24% -30% on unpaid balance.

Has anyone put as much as they will let you put on the Card.
My dealer let me put $7700 on the card so I had enough points to order the tonneau cover I wanted (not one of the Ford ones) and got the $200 statement credit at the end of the year. Good deal IMO!

I got the card and the dealer allowed me to put $2500 on it, if you spend $3000 in the first 3 months you also get a $100 statement credit. So if you spend $6000 in the first year you get $300 cash back, or 5%. In addition you earn the Ford Points, between the Maverick purchase and Visa points, I was able to use 86000 points to get a $430 discount on the maintenance plan I bought.

I put 5k on this card at purchase. I believe that is the max the card will allow. there is also a 6 month no interest option for certain purchases.if you are so inclined to take advantage of that option in lieu of full payment on the first month.

I put $3k on it with my latest maverick purchase at Autonation. Pretty sure it was a $5k max with them. FWIW other dealers wouldn’t let me do that or wanted to charge me a fee.
Definitely Beware.
My ford dealer charges 3% on top of any CC purchase. I would've charged the max if possible to get more points if not 😆
But would've pd it off B4 a dime of interest charges.

Mine wanted that 3% upcharge as well when I picked up the truck. I didn't push it as they gave me X-plan, so I didn't use the card for the purchase. I was able to use a different CC for my initial $1000 deposit and get $17.50 back.

If I had the Ford card at the time, I'd have tried to get them to take a $2000 ot $3000 deposit with it!

My dealer allows $2500 with no upcharge. Over $2500 is 3% up charge

So, I got an email a few days ago about a VISA and first purchase I would receive 11K reward points.

So, first has anyone received or have this VISA Card and is it legit?

So, if it is legit can I put the whole price of new Maverick on this Card? Will I gain more points doing so?
Rewards are generally a good thing only if you don't carry a balance otherwise subtract point value from interest rate to see if it's better on one card as opposed to the others. The ford points are nice but as most folks can tell you it takes a lot of points to purchase anything.

Have it , put your down payment on it , buy something little at parts department , key fob cover , do an oil change with it and move up to blue tier and run your monthly , insurance and gas through it . More points if car related all the way to parking lot fees . I run a few rentals trash and water district bills and insurances through it too. Have bought about 15k worth of ford parts at dealer too to rebuild a couple hybrid mavericks .
I’m north of $1500 in points value in 6 months .
In a couple years when raptor broncos are below msrp I’ll negotiate cash price and then throw down the card , should be around 4 or 5k on the points by then !
Just pay off balance monthly

No greater waste of money in life than paying credit card interest. I pay absolutely everything I can (including my utility bill) via credit card in order to get the cash back. If they stopped the rewards cards, I'd stop using them altogether.

I got the card and put as much of the down payment on it that the dealer would allow. You get a boatload of points for using the card and also for the vehicle purchase. My dealer allowed me to put the points toward a spray in bedliner and it cut the cost by more than half- it was a few hundred dollars but I don't recall the exact amount.

If you do that then cancel the card it's well worth it.

Why cancel it? There is no annual fee, and if you charge $6k in a year, you get $200 back (plus points).

If you don't want or need the credit? Just making the point that you are under no obligation to keep the card.

My personal choice in reward cards are AMEX/Chase varieties because of their flexibility with transfer partners and travel benefits.

If I were to move back to cash back cards my #1 would be the Fidelity Rewards card because of compound interest. After that I would likely consider the Capital One SavorOne, Amazon Prime (with Prime membership), Chase Freedom, or Amex Bluecash Preferred, since I use the AMEX offer portal often.

The Ford rewards card may outperform any of the above cards under the right circumstance. If you value the Ford points it is a good option.

A very important and often overlooked benefit from a credit card is its additional insurance and warranty protections. We had a rather expensive appliance fail just outside of it's warranty period and AMEX covered its full value. Chase's travel insurance benefit was very helpful on one of our recent trips to Europe.
