With Ruby Red, I prefer the BAP exterior but I am not a fan of the blue plastic with black interior. I prefer the equipment included in the luxury package. Personally I would go with the luxury package if I had to choose between the two.
I have had several painted F150 front bumpers with minor rock chipping and pitting over the years. I expect it will be easier to replace film than deal with painting and blending several panels to match a freshly painted bumper down the road.
Thanks for the links. I'm very aware of the towing limitations of the Lightning but always welcome real world examples. That said, most of our towing is to local camp grounds within 100 miles and then campers we have looked at are around 3000lbs. While the truck is rated to handle 10k lbs, I...
I originally had a 2022 Maverick with the 4k tow package. At that time my wife and I had talked about buying a small camper for short weekend getaways. We put that idea on hold when camper prices hit levels I could not justify. My hybrid order finally was built in early 2023 so I sold my 2022...
If you can generate a X-plan pin, any dealer who accepts it and has a Lightning with the new invoice structure should be able to assist. Make sure you qualify for the Mor-ev program in addition to the federal tax credit.
After all programs it was $43200 before trade. The 2025 Maverick order I cancelled was going to cost $41400. While I hadn't planned to finance the difference, the Lightning also offered 0% for 60 months.
My journey with the Maverick Lariat has been great. I have had no complaints and the hybrid has averaged 51 mpg over the last 13k miles.
The AWD Hybrid and 4k are both great options that I wish had been available starting in 2022. When compared to the 2023 price, I feel that Ford has really...
My experience has been that scheduled starts are only disabled after two missed remote starts. I've been setting mine to do this while on vacation for years.
The only difference for me was when I was out of state and got a couple of tanks of ethanol free fuel. Locally all fuel is 10% ethanol. I ran premium exclusively in my EcoBoost and my first few fills on the hybrid were premium out of habit. I am now at 12k miles with 9500 miles using 87. My...
There are numerous pages across the Internet and many threads available on this forum that breakdown the hybrid fuel recommendations. Check out some of those threads as there is a lot of good information. There will be no harm running premium and if you feel it is beneficial, absolutely use it.
While it may not be clear, that recommendation is for the turbocharged engine. The hybrid uses an Atkinson cycle and that is different from the EcoBoost. I stand by the recommended 87 fuel type. Spend your money how you feel is best for your vehicle.
If your need for cash is greater than the need for the vehicle and you are happy with their offer, take it. If not, keep it and enjoy the vehicle that will likely be impossible to replace at the price you paid.
