Nice job Ford. Increasing production?
I’m sure it will be great. 505 days and waiting. I bet I crack 600 before scheduled. Wonder if Vegas will take bets 🤔

Got mine 3/2/23. Dropped order at Long Lewis as they never communicated with me or did Ford for order placed with them. Good luck getting yours. The person that took my order appears to be gone and her files in lala land.

Wow... I don't recall telling anyone what to drive, I was sharing my experience which is what a forum is. I apologize if I offended you, delivering cupcakes can be a rewarding and I am sure you make a good living at it. It was just the first metaphor that came to mind. I was in no way trying to offend anyone's career choice.
Man, You didn't offend me. I'd love to be able to deliver cupcakes, but I'm under qualified for that job. These days, I'm only qualified to be my wife's unpaid assistant janitor... And glad to get the work - the pay sucks, but the benefits are first rate!

For sale - one train, lightly pre-owned.

Let's hope that there were no cupcakes aboard, they may be slightly burnt.

Yeah, China is a paradise.

A company wanted to mine rare earth minerals in my state but with push back from environmentalists and locals.... Just like wind turbines... that the Kennedy's fought against... and whale protesters at other off shore sites. We can't get much done here but China has no such problems.

For what it's worth, I'm a lawyer, and I'd rather be delivering cupcakes in my Maverick. If I ever get it.
Just wondering...
If the dealer tries to put a surcharge on the Maverick when it shows up without Ford's knowledge would a scary letter from a lawyer get them to honor the pricing they agreed to when taking the order?

From my understanding NO....the order belongs to the dealer until the final paperwork is signed at delivery. The order is placed with the customer's preferences in mind - but it is the dealer's order.

Better off telling how you will expose them on social media. Pretend you're some big youtuber and have thousand of followers Plus facebook and twitter even if your not on any of that.

Actually, I think it's a contract, which in its simplest form is an offer and acceptance. I suspect it is, in theory, enforceable. But realistically speaking, it would require lawyers and lawsuits and all kinds of annoying complications. In California, which is considered (inaccurately) a plaintiff-friendly state, such a lawsuit would probably take a minimum of a year. Which is how long you've been waiting for your Maverick.
Threatening letters are fine (and, sometimes, fun). But I'd rather have a truck with crappy gas mileage than deal with five minutes of civil litigation.

So.....huuummmm! It's been 3 weeks since they scheduled anything. Wonder when they are thinking about actually boosting production on this truck. Next year I guess!
1. Production hasn't slowed, and has been scheduled for over a month out from now.
2. The additional shift starts at the plant this summer, as discussed many times in this thread.

Ford now needs to buy some railroad or trucking companies so they can actually get vehicles delivered.
Damn good idea. No reason why Fordblue cant build semis and run em in house. Rail too, there is alot of 2nd track across the country that has been pulled up. No reason not to lay down new rail and move their own freight and the rest of the industry. They have built all this stuff before, and I guarantee any administration would offer huge incentives for a public American company to do it. It could turn the whole damn economy around. Scaling diesel electric down to semis and then passenger vehicles would give them enough time to figure out full EVs right without rushing it like every one else.

Ford could easily run a railroad line to Hawaii. Makes sense.
