Someone who knows that a fwd truck is useless for retrieving a boat and trailer on a steep launch ramp and has two other 4wd vehicles much more capable for that use or any other towing requirement.
False. My FWD hybrid pulls better than a RWD mid size truck on wet grass.

Actually RWD is better than FWD as long as they keep their tires dry. The weight of the trailer and the boat on the rear axle provides traction where it is actually shifting the weight distribution away from the front wheels.
You may think so but not really.
The weight of the engine and all components up front is way better for traction than the trivial amount of tongue weight with an empty bed. And like you said, the front wheels will be dry or at least out of the mud/slime in most cases.

FWD for the win over RWD 99% of the time.

No doubt it does.
But I fail to see how that relates to pulling a boat up a steep boat ramp.

Your statement about wet grass does not make my statement about the boat ramp false❗😉

Sounds like unreconcilable communication issues. First ya buy something with reasonable expectations of what you got. Then after you've got it home and some time goes by, something happens, the ass end increases in size. It's common.

I personally don't mind it, but it's all about clearly communicating the expectations and what will be delivered.

I recommend divorcing your dealer before they disappoint you next. Find one that better suites you 😉.
Lol they are fixing the issue. They got ahold.of.the curt part and have ordered it. We are moving out of state in the summer so I will be 'divorcing' them that wau lol.

My wife has an Odyssey and I've got a Mav. Dream team family setup if you ask me. The van for long comfortable trips and the Mav for weekend warrior / adventures. Both efficient enough to use as commuters.
Im not the biggest fan of the odyssey but it’s served our family (3 kids under 10) faithfully for 6 years and 90k miles. Probably going to keep it until we get the balance of the incoming Mav paid off and then we’ll look at a Grand Highlander hybrid or something similar at that time.

1. There was no need for it at the time, or so we thought.
2. It wouldnt have mattered anyway when I ordered it as they cancelled the hitch on preorders of the Hybrid for 2022. So Even if I had it would have been removed.
I bought three 2022's all came in with their hitch. I did not remove anything on any order. The third one was XLT with only hitch and 400 watt inverter. Just in case the XLT LUX could not be built. I guess I got lucky on mine as I was unaware of not being able to order with a hitch. Yes they did take over a year to be built.

Are any of yours Hybrid? Because they were deleting the option on the hybrid. If so you were lucky.
Still took 11 months to get mine.

All three were hybrids. Actually the first one was a first edition lariat loaded that came in late Feb 2022 that someone else had ordered. My salesman called and asked if I might be interested, said that buyer was coming in to pick it up and if they didn't take it she could delay turning key in for an hour or so. I bit that lure from commission focused sales person. Test drove it at 4:05 pm and parked with 100% OTD 2.25% financed in my garage at 6:27 pm. Did not cancel any order as did not want to not appreciate my sales person. I did not worry about the hitch hurting build chances as many were cancelling their hitches.

I was referring to this picture of the harness just hanging there.
I agree, a bracket to hold the pigtail in place would look better. But, some people are so cheap they won't spend the extra $3 to get it.

The ford accessory flat 4 connector doesn’t come with a bracket.
