I admire you ability and willingness to jump into this. Looks like it's going to be something for all to envy. Glad you gave the foot credit. Can't wait for the final product.

So was not happy with how it came out last night. So stripped last nights work and spent all morning reforming the corners. Today much better and I can live with them now. I have to re-prep and paint after lunch.

Decided to bite the bullet and use some high build primer to get the surface correct. Could not find my respirator today so we did it without, huge headache now but it is done.

Finally getting texture coat and paint back on, this has taken all day.

This was yesterday for comparison, much improved today.

I am 98% happy with how it came out, will use lessons learned to do the passenger side. I can now live with how the driver side turned out.

It will still need to be hit with some 1500 grit but it needs to site over night to cure good.

You could but to molded it in you need the same radius as the bumper for them to aim the correct direction. Good thing about this is that I will be able to use any of the same Dodge fog lights as I am making the braket that fits them. I will have some more pics up tonight.

Still need to remove and sand edges back to be able to press fit front of light flush against rubber gasket but we almost there. Still waiting on wire harnesses to arrive, were not in today's mail.

What about having a similar frame or housing a like this one.

That looks a lot nicer ☺

Also, no offense OP, but it looks like the first time you've cut/shaved plastic with a dremel. I hope the finished product has trim to cover the jagged cut out.

No offense taken, trial and error on this. Look a couple post up to see plan, not sure if you missed it.

What is your plan with the cut out?

The cutout still has to get cleaned up some more to get everything smooth and to push fit in correctly. One issue is I had was heating the plastic a lot to try and reform it so the light would sit flat on the back side, which caused some issues. I had to cut out about 1/8 plastic in the corner of each corner to remold and then plastic weld it back together. If you look up a few post you will see the redone cutout before the gasket. The other side will be much easier and cleaner, now that I know what has to be done.

Trimmed and first photo of no one having to hold the light in place, the rubber gasket is tight enough around the light it was holding it in place. I am really hoping I like the way these look once all mounted on the truck if not this has been a lot of wasted work. Hoping to have everything done and maybe mounted this weekend, we will see how it goes.

Wow that looks good. Take a pic further back to see it compared to the entire bumper for scale

I have a lariat with the DRLs up top and I thought a great idea would be to add fog lights that allow the drl to continue down into the bumper, just like the new f150s. It looks like these are backwards from what I want though. Any chance they can be mounted so the DRL is on the outer edge of the truck?
