They do need to be pointed straight ahead, not matching the angle. That will blind oncoming drivers.
Good point, probably should have a separate switch.

this is a blast from the past but I like it as I'm also interested in installing fog lights in those locations. I would use one of these kits (normal or fx4).

also on the comments from last year regarding blocking the intercooler, I totally agree, but many may not realize both the intercooler as well as the radiator have active shutters. they can close at highway speeds for superior aerodynamics. I've heard eco mode keeps the intercooler shutters closed all the time but I haven't gotten out to look.

I will be running a hybrid (in a few years when my 2023 order is delivered), but in all seriousness, you can't run in front of your truck to look while it is in motion?? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

IF you are using them for actual fog or snow, yellow will cut through better. Most people only want brighter lights to help the headlights, then white is better and looks better.
I'm more concerned with helping the headlights especially up close and lower.

I'm curious to know if the first set of brackets is designed for a no-hook Maverick. The second link clearly indicates those brackets are for a tow-hook Mav.

One has to be married to have that feature.

Yes and yes. The seller's descriptions may not be perfect but there are pics in each listing that show what it is.

Hi
Does anyone have any ideas on what option may be available to install fog lights to the maverick.
Early morning drive (fog) for work really wished it was an option to have
Thanks
Wow. Someone that actually uses fog lights in the fog instead of blinding oncoming traffic.

Which is what driving lights were designed to do. Weird that Ford doesn't even make them optional. Oh well, I'll add my own too, if I ever get my truck.

I had thought of replacing my non-FX4 with a FX4 bumper. So I would have the holes for running/fog lights.

Anyone here mod the tow hook area panels to add fog lights? That looks like the logical spot for them.. If so, post pics and any installation tips.
I have a quote to remove the tow hooks fab brackets with lights for $475. I went to a custom truck shop. This second after my clear bra. Estimate to have it done by Jan 1. You must remember the lights need to be adjusted to the front and down. There is a dot spec I believe..

I would like white fogs with a wide angle. Not a fan of turning left on an unlit street with tinted windows -the cutoff of the led headlamps is severe and there's very little corner illumination when turning.

I've seen people post pics of fog lights where they cut out holes for them. No videos yet though.
