Full is Nikola, it's a Croatian name. I have only met other European males with Nik. Most of them are Greek.

I have hit that panic button like 10x.

At work, I park my truck close enough to the building that it picks up the fob signal from my desk. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it's almost a daily occurrence that someone has to come tell me my panic alarm is going off again.

That is really cool! Can you share what kind/brand/model printer you have? I don't have one but I might invest in one.

I've had a few different printers, but I printed this on a Bambu X1C. Great printer, terrible company. I refuse to give them any more of my money. If you are on the market, I recommend the SnapMaker U1, or, if you can swing it, the Prusa CORE One L. Personally, the Prusa will be my next printer.

I have the old-style flip keyfob on mine, but I cannot even imagine pushing the buttons accidentally. I figure we have a lot of guys around here wearing tight pants, trying to be Tom Jones or something.

Lol... I'm a bigger boy and keep setting it off with the other keys on my key ring while walking with them in my pocket...

So I designed a 3D printed fob cover that partially blocks the panic button, complete with "stitching" to match my Lobo.

In all the years I have had FOBs with the panic button I have set it off once. and that happened while stuffing large wire cutter handle into my pocket about 15 years ago. But since then the only thing in my right pocket is the key fob.

Working around my Maverick is quite alarming most of the time. After reaching over the bed rail that fuel door pops open at half cocked can give you a senile apperance while driving around town. That is a nice design on your key FOB.

My old Avalanche used to go off when I was working, so I opened the fob and put a piece of tape over the contact. None of my other vehicles had this problem until the Mav. I will be dumping 2 keys off my ring later this week when I turn them in. I will no longer be working part-time for the university and dont need them. Maybe I won't set it off anymore with only the house key on it.

Can you still access the key without a major disassembly?
I bought one on Amazon, but would almost have to destroy it to get to the spare key.

Since I had never accidentally set mine off I intentionally did today to make sure it works . I do only have 1 key attached to the FOB so that might be the difference.
