That is what I tried only whithout the strap. Was afraid of paint scuff on the finish over time. Bet you get some hefty winds in Maine I see 20 to 30 mph winds here in NW Missouri about twice a week.
All these stories are helpful. I think that setting my wipers to a parked position and keeping a can of deicer for ice/packed snow that accumulates around wiper arms is what I'll do while I checkout the noodle project.
Good idea I'll check the diameter of the noodle and see if it is good fit. Or even wrap it with a dense material that could roll over the top of those wiper arms. Thanks
Have a question but not sure what to call the area that the wiper arms sit in but that cavity fills with snow and ice. Is there a cover made that would lay over the wiper arms and prevent that build up? I purcahse a windshield cover I thought would do the job but the wind made it useless.
Pulling out onto a highway I needed to get up to speed fast. Tachometer showed 3500 rpm when shifting to the next gear with moderate throttle position. After reaching what I believe was 6th or 7th gear I let up on the throttle and the transmission down shifted and caused rpm's to hit 5000 rpm...
I was looking at those replacement antennas and was curious if a antenna could be built in one of those rooftop spoilers that could improve radio reception?
Why would it be so hard to block the purge line while fuel door is open? Then opens when fuel door is closed. That is a million dollar question. Just went trough this on my 18 MKC they have known about this for a long time now.
Real nice mod. I wondered what a cool sound would be when the yoke was pulled back all the way. Maybe reverse thrust sound being applied through a sub woofer?
