  1. Truck Box Divider

Have to agree with you. I do way too much thinking and not enough doing.
  2. Truck Box Divider

What type of carpet anything special? With a spray in bed liner it might create enough friction to chew up the carpet.
  3. Truck Box Divider

That is what I was thinking. I had 200lbs of weight on a piece of plywood that became tough to push. Then I found a scrap of 1 inch diameter steel pipe 30 inches wide that made it simple to roll. Been scratching my head for a low level roller attached to a design like yours.
  4. Truck Box Divider

I enjoy seeing all the ingenuity in these designs. Might inspire this old brain to get out and make a roll out/ grocery get'n/swap meet kind of table I thought about after my last yard sale. Keep them coming.
  5. FORD MOBILE APP IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED!

Yes I agree with your comment but after 54 years of driving most of this new stuff is just a distraction.
  6. FORD MOBILE APP IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED!

Luv digital tech, pay up or get out. But being old I can say good by. Feel sorry for the next couple generations that will be trapped with it.
  7. Clunk, Clunk Every Time I Start Moving/Turning

Same here, thought it was something loose in storage under the back seat. Just a mild clunk that happens right before coming to a complete stop then again taking off like something rolling around. Hard to pin point the source. 2022 Lariat Eco 47k.
  8. Crazy good deal on this Lear quad fold bed cover

Thanks you, your post saved me some serious funds. One is sitting at my front door can't wait for the weekend. Pics of the install coming soon.
  9. Fob cover (DIY 3D print) to prevent accidentally pressing panic alarm button

Working around my Maverick is quite alarming most of the time. After reaching over the bed rail that fuel door pops open at half cocked can give you a senile apperance while driving around town. That is a nice design on your key FOB.
  10. Prototype home-built kayak or ladder rack

Well done, looks so sturdy that drop down side panels for gear storage would look nice
  11. 2022 XLT is causing me strife lately. AC out, EVAP throwing codes, window switch button disintegrates...

Share your frustration as my 22 (45k miles)Lariat will draw blood if your not careful because of the chrome plating is peeling. It was a gradual curl on that chrome and one day it popped up like a little switch blade that was razor sharp. Interested on how your your repair goes, good luck.
  12. Did I make a mistake with the Decal Delete?

Clean all day, call it incogneeto:wink:
  13. Cover for Wiper Well

That is what I tried only whithout the strap. Was afraid of paint scuff on the finish over time. Bet you get some hefty winds in Maine I see 20 to 30 mph winds here in NW Missouri about twice a week.
  14. Cover for Wiper Well

All these stories are helpful. I think that setting my wipers to a parked position and keeping a can of deicer for ice/packed snow that accumulates around wiper arms is what I'll do while I checkout the noodle project.
  15. Cover for Wiper Well

I use remote start to clear windshield but removing ice around wiper arms is a tough spot to get cleaned up even after a short warm up.
  16. Cover for Wiper Well

Only while parked during snow or ice events.
  17. Cover for Wiper Well

I knew posting a question here would get some good ideas from Maverick owners that know how to adapt, thanks.
  18. Cover for Wiper Well

Good idea I'll check the diameter of the noodle and see if it is good fit. Or even wrap it with a dense material that could roll over the top of those wiper arms. Thanks
  19. Cover for Wiper Well

Have a question but not sure what to call the area that the wiper arms sit in but that cavity fills with snow and ice. Is there a cover made that would lay over the wiper arms and prevent that build up? I purcahse a windshield cover I thought would do the job but the wind made it useless.
