Disable panic alarm on remote key?

Remove the button from inside the FOB. There are a couple posts about it. I did mine that way. You just open the fob up, remove the board, cut a small slit in the silicon, remove the clicker, put everything back together. You can reseal the silicon protector if you want. FOB looks normal, but the button doesn't press anything on the board.

I know the frustration. As many vehicles as I've had with it, the Maverick is the only one that would set off if I looked at it wrong. My Escape had the same damn FOB and it never went off.

The panic button would set off the alarm while the fob was in my pocket so I removed the switch from the pcb in the fob. Here is a YouTube video showing how:
