I know there was a post a year or so ago from a security researcher here about fully disabling the system on the Maverick. He said pulling the fuse was not enough to fully disable the telematics unit. He went as far as opening up the dash and removing the unit itself because it was still sending signals sometimes. The unit is behind the HVAC controls (22-24). We‘ll have to dig up the post, I think it was called something along the lines of ‘How to remove telematics unit’,Freedom is a fuse away.
