Haven't tried yetCan you flip the arms up when the hood is opened?

Also, I'm calling you out for a violation: no tire pic! Unacceptable!
To change the blades. I figured if they are blocked from opening when the hood is closed, maybe you are supposed to change them when the hood is open? Why would you want the wiper arms up with the hood open?
Look on page 1 of this thread where service mode is explained. That is how you change blades. To change the blades. I figured if they are blocked from opening when the hood is closed, maybe you are supposed to change them when the hood is open?
Don't just go yanking/dragging the wipers along the windshield. That is not how it is meant to work. The wipers have a service mode like many other brands:
1) Turn ignition on
2) Turn ignition off
3) press and hold wiper stalk down for a few seconds
The wipers should automatically swipe completely up and stop. This way you can do what you need to do.
I saw that thanks, the problem is I'll never remember without having to look it up. If you can flip them up with the hood open it would be simpler. Not that the method you posted is complex but old age is a heartless mistress.Look on page 1 of this thread where service mode is explained. That is how you change blades.
Here is the post I made:
