My yellow edition is parked in the garage this week. Not even going to bother washing it until April.

We got snow, then Ice then another 8" of snow. Not really sure what the total was. My son clears the yard, I still have not gone outside! 😉

My sinuses hurt just looking at the pollen. This week we start the spring horse migration north. My allergies go insane. We travel from northern Vermont to south Florida and back, over and over for 2 months. We see so many different areas each with their own different pollen. It is basically allergy hell!

Ordered end of November, arrived almost 4 months to the day. I originally wanted Black with BAP, but I couldn’t be happier with the Special Edition Yellow combined with the YAP. Black just shows too much dirt, so I’m really happy I went with the yellow instead.

Sprung for the top trim Hybrid and all the bells and whistles since I basically live in my car 4-6 hrs a day for work. And I can’t live without SiriusXM Radio so I paid the extra $5,000 for that, lol. $37.5k-ish sticker btw.

For real though, had it for 1 day now and love it so far. Yes, I know black gets dirty. Yes, I know Lariat isn’t best “value”. Yes, I know it doesn’t have AWD. Yes, I know Ford’s interiors are far inferior to most other brands and the Maverick’s interior is inferior to even most other Fords... Don’t care. Got the compact truck I’ve always wanted, plus 42 mpg.

Pollen season doesn’t f*ck around in North Carolina, btw….

Let the accessorization commence!

Nice looking truck... congratulations! 👍🏼

You made the right decision going with the Lariat. You can't get all the bells and whistles and the overall better look from the Peasant Editions (XL and XLT) models.

Wish you many happy moments in your new truck.

I hose off my yellow iconic silver hybrid daily. You folks who don't live under pine trees don't know what you're missing.

In the south we pray for rain this time of year.
You got that right, thank god it's raining today and tomorrow. It should clear some of that pollen. The Mav was looking mighty green and it doesn't pay to wash it because 5 minutes later its full of pollen again. Now I'm not even going to say what the pollen does to my head!

You are spot on about the spring season here. Spring in NC has much to recommend it, but the pollen situation definitely ain't on the list.
Fortunately, Cyber Orange pollen is a pretty good match with Cyber Orange paint. If it weren't for the trim and windows, I would barely notice it. 😉
