Any of you that have received your Maverick First Edition, do you feel comfortable running it thru a Automatic Car Wash - Brushless? Any concerns about the First Edition decals & would they be covered under Ford Warranty should they be damaged?

You should have a Vin by now. Have you contacted Ford customer service to check?

I ordered 7/26/21 received my vin & window sticker end of May and since then been pushed back 14 different times. Even had eta dates back in July, but still waiting. Ford CS has given me a ETA of 9/2 to 9/10 the last several weeks, & now the 10th is only two weeks off, I don't see how that will work getting my Maverick to SPRINGFIELD, IL by the 10th of September. Still hasn't been shipped although I'm told it is complete & no chip hold, don't understand why they have not put it on a rail car yet???

Maybe they are taking care of all the recalls. Personally, I would rather wait longer until all the problems are fixed.

Yes ive called them a few times hoping to get information but each time i talk with ford they give me absolutely nothing and i hang up disappointed.
I made the mistake of ordering the truck at zumbrota ford not far from my house and trading my truck in that day, i will never buy anything from them after this. They assured me only a couple of months then said worst case scenario i would have it in January.
One of the conversations with Maverick marketing they told me first editions were being made first since needed be 22. I reminded her mine was a first edition but that didnt matter still no info, she suggested i call my dealer. So i did, he told me he has some good news that they have an email that there was a maverick in production they sold one before me and mine was number two so his logic was mine would be built soon also. I asked him if it was a first edition also and it was not. So ford maverick lied or he lied or perhaps both lie!

Coming back around to your question ..... I hand-wash my Mav, don't take it to any car wash. (Specs in my signature section below).

I wouldn't send your mav through an automatic car wash, especially if it has any kinds of decals. There's been numerous post in this forum where the decals get rubbed off. Do yourself a favor and wash it by hand using the 2 bucket method and use quality supplies.
