Solidly witty response - so more of a should they rather than will they?

Well, for those pondering will they, it seems like many signs suggest some type of a refresh is coming. Infotainment is a commonly included component in these refreshes and this article suggests that a vehicle the Mav both shares many components with and is built in the same plant as may have a new, larger screen coming. So that’s why. Should they? Not a clue.

There's going to be millions of people complaining there's no cubby next to the screen.

I'm not sure if it has already been posted, but just saw some very interesting spy photos on a Bronco Sport test vehicle. It appears to have a much larger touchscreen. Here's to hoping Ford makes this available on the Maverick in 2025 MY.

I must be missing something. . . . I hardly ever use that screen. If they would put actual gauges there (digital or otherwise) it would be far more useful space for me.

And rightly so! Where am I suposed to put my bottle of nitro pills? Or those lower dentures that never fit right. It's not like anyones looking to see if you have teeth in while you're driving!

That cubby is the first thing Ford really thought thru.

Unfortunately Ford will likely not just update the screen but most likely to 4 or 4A and it will not be backwards compatible for existing Mavs.

Also based on the new Ranger and F-Series - there will be two screen sizes for the Maverick - XL, XLT will get smaller/basic screen while Lariat will get what you see pictured.
Does that mean we will have physical knobs for AC, Radio , Etc on XL and XLT trims for '25 ?

Be nice if it’s plug and play for earlier Mavs but I doubt it will be.
