February Build Month Thread

My Lariat hybrid with Lux pkg, CP360, and CP360Assist was originally scheduled for 2/8, then got moved to 2/10, and finally settled on 2/9 about two weeks ago. Showed 'In Production' on 2/9, and just changed a few minutes ago (on 2/10) to 'Built'. Now let's see how long it takes to ship. FORD has given me an estimate of 3/29 to 4/3 for time to my dealer.

Mine was built the same week. Shipped on the 10th. Estimate for delivery was March 3 thru 10th. To Southern Ohio.

One week and counting as my Tremor sits by the ramp in Hermosillo waiting to catch a train to Canada.

Funny thing is that a parking lot I frequent is also used by a local dealer to hold stock waiting for PDI. Was there yesterday to renew the long term rental I’m driving as I wait, when a big convoy of fleet Mavericks rolled in!

That makes more sense. @mktmgrjrm ‘s maverick was built on the 10th with a delivery on 3/29-4/3. Not sure where it’s going but seems a long time. Regardless I hope we all get our mavericks sooner than later

Mine just went to 'BUILT' on 2/10 - the email I got from FORD says 'We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment.' Not sure if everyone's notification email says the same thing, but after reading what Godzilla's expected delivery date is I thought what they told me was a bit long - especially considering that my Mav is going to Central Ohio which just ain't that far from Southern Ohio. Unless they plan on pushing it the last 100 miles.

Update on my MY23 order - the tracker now shows my Mav as 'SHIPPED' and I got a 'Your vehicle is on the way' email from FORD. Unfortunately, the 'estimate for delivery' didn't get any sooner - still sitting at 3/27 to 4/2. Just don't understand why it's going to take 6-7 weeks to get here. Maybe there going to let it sit a couple of weeks in the sunny parking lot to cure the paint.

Mine was built 2/10 and received Ford built email with delivery between 3/17 and 3/23. Isn't showing shipped in tracker yet.

Did you order from a small dealer?

Dealer isn't super small - they have four locations in central Ohio. However, they haven't sold a lot of Mavericks. Not sure why the dealer size would have an impact on how long it takes to ship the vehicle. Rail goes to Wayne, MI which I think probably covers a lot of Ohio.

The trains will transport to the designated ramp, Wayne, MI in your case, then it could sits in a parking lot for days until there is enough cars to trunk to your dealer. If they are a small town dealer with low volume, your car might be sitting until there is at least 3+ (just guessing here) vehicles that need to go to your dealer. Just a thought or guess.

Update: Shipped on a train headed to western Canada!

Funny thing is in the header it says delivery estimated between 03/24/2023 & 03/30/2023 while underneath in the details it says 03/21/2023 - 04/03/2023. Nice job, FoMoCo IT!

Based on past deliveries, my best guess is 4 weeks to mid-March. Trying to get some tracking info, but haven't heard back from the dealer yet and chat was no help as usual.
