That harness probably would work just use one of the fog light power from bcm as signal to your relay.Thank you for the great write up @Vtec87pr1 . Any thoughts on using the fog light button for ditch lights with this wiring harness? Any problems with running just the left or the right fog light wire directly to the relay on the Rigid harness? Power for the lights would be direct from the battery.

Each light pulls about 3.5 amps, so I don't think the 22ga wire would like being without a relay.
Nop i dont lolWow, nice work, looks like you have a lot of time, lol.
@Vtec87pr1 First off this is amazing. I think I appreciate the attention to detail and the effort it took to get that oem look more than having the actual fog lights themselves haha
Second go ahead and sign me up for a harness if you're still making them! Diode Dynamics SS3 Fogs with the JJC brackets and a Fx4 lower valence.
Appreciate it! Got the terminals on order from RockAuto for $9 shipped and the F-150 light module for about $30 shipped off another site. Will give it a try one of these days when they come in...That harness probably would work just use one of the fog light power from bcm as signal to your relay.
Im not using 22 gauge wire on the harness i make btw . I use 16 or 18 gauge . The bcm acts as power source and relay and fuse protection. But on the new ones im adding fuse if they used heavy duty fog lamps.
I had mine with out the fuse just normal f150 fog ligjts like the writte up and i havent had any problems yet.
Good morning and happy 2024 VTech. My name is Paul and I got down this rabbit hole and found your info from another member who passed it on. Great stuff. I'm not the most technical and a lot of this sort of goes over my head, but I'm very interested in putting in the DD fog lights and using a factory house module like I think the F-150 provides. I have a 2022 hybrid Lariat and I would like everything to look clean inside and work like a factory provided option. Are you still making the harnesses and is there some tips you could share with me that maybe might help make it easier? Thanks in advance for all you doAnyone that its interested on the wiring from bcm to the front bumper let me know here thanks im going to start making them. Will need to know what kind of quality you would like and what kind of fog lamps you will be using to use the conector for it.
DD just came out with a fog kit for the Maverick complete with mounts, housing replacements and wiring harness. Check it out . . .Good morning and happy 2024 VTech. Thank you for your reply. I saw that and I really like it but it doesn't use the existing switch inside my cabin and I'd like to use it and I understand. F-150 and the Ford escape hybrid has a switch that has the button for the fog lights as opposed to what DD offers is just a stand-alone button. Any thoughts?DD just came out with a fog kit for the Maverick complete with mounts, housing replacements and wiring harness. Check it out . . .
