I've only run it in my dirtbikes, but like said above, *better for long term storage/gunking up carb engines, will get better gas mileage but also usually pay a little more.

Not a problem in area I live in there is a distributor name of Glover oil. They have pumps in the back 87/93 non ethanol, race fuel, aviation gas, diesel fuel.. Just drive back use a CC pick your pump and have at it.
Actually it burns dirtier than Ethanol, but it causes less problems on rubber parts and o rings and is more stable over longer periods, that's why ethanol free is better for yard equipment and small engines and older cars that weren't designed for E gas. Normal ethanol added gas should be fine for your Mav as it was designed for it.
I run it in all my two strokers. Slightly over 4 bucks a gallon for it here now but worth it as they are very happy burning it.

My second tank was real gas.. I loved the power and mileage, but couldn't justify the added cost.

My local Casey's used to have 91 E0 for 5cents more than their 91 E10 premium.
When I ran it in my cmax I got 4-5 mpg more than with E10. ( 87, or 93, no difference in mpg between them)
They replaced it with 93E10, for 10 or more cents than their 91E10 premium, and call it "super premium"
Everyone else in the area, their premium is 93E10, and runs the same price as Casey's 91....

Ethanol free is all I've used in my ecoboost for the last 5 months. I really like it but may have to start use the ethanol fuel as the price is becoming too much over my budget.

I thought ethanol increased octane and energy?
Ethanol free is now pushing toward 6 bucks a gallon here now. Add that little 8 oz bottle of two stroke oil for 2 gallons and that is sure some pricey gas. LOL.

Ethanol alone has: 76,330 Btu/gallon
Pure gas has: 120,286 Btu/gallon
The pure gas has a lot more energy in it, than ethanol. Ethanol reduces the amount of energy available and that means more fuel per mile.

Ethanol increases the Octane rating, not the energy content.
you will burn more, flex fuel cars normally have higher flow injectors than non, but the fuel is more knock resistant, so you can pull timing/run higher compression (like Boost) and produce more power.
why ford doesn't just make the ecoboost engines all flex fuel is beyond me...
they could take advantage of the increased octane[E85 for example, is around 100-105 octane, if it's really 85% Ethanol, but it's often a lot lower] for more (but thirstier) power.
Ethanol is added to fuel to get more oxygen into the reaction to burn cleaner.
the octane boost is an added bonus.
add 10% Ethanol to 85 octane gas, it becomes 87 octane E10.
add 10% Ethanol to 91 octane gas, it's now 93 octane E10
add 15% Ethanol to 85 octane gas, it's now 88 octane E15 (sometimes labeled as Unleaded 88)
but you will use more than E0 gas.
ethanol also absorbs water.
which is bad and good...
bad, because you might bet more water in your fuel. water doesn't burn. you use more fuel.
good, because that water is far more likely to stay in suspension and not freeze up in your fuel lines over the winter.
higher concentrations will also clean your fuel system out more readily. (alcohol is a hell of a cleaner.)
