I'll be watching. But my expectations are damped. Ford has not said they're showing the vehicle. They said they're highlighting the innovations and people behind the vehicle. So I expect some presentatioons on shorter wiring harnesses, large cast frame components, zonal controllers, more efficient motors. And I think it's mainly aimed at stock analysts, not customers.

If they show the truck, it's an unexpected treat. It's all good.

Is the picture from OP post supposed to be it ??? It looks maverick sized. NOT mid sized.

For those saying lawn garden business, I have NEVER seen one not uses a FULL size with 8 foot bed. Maybe once a 6 footer. Now they will use a tiny maverick sized bed NOPE. Not reality. Plus they also pull LARGE trailer at least EVERY lawn business I have EVER seen.

The price still doubt 30 K. Maybe if its really stripped meaning even lower than an XL. Like crank window. No radio tiny back up screen like 5 inch,. Rubber floor. Range 120 mile which is really means 80 as who drives till empty .

I would love to see a compact sized EV truck. I had a Rivian R1T that we gave to our son as it was too big for my wife to drive, so we got a 24 Maverick Lariat. I would want to see a 'Lobo' style EV sports truck though. I am retired, like hi-perf. EVs. Hopefully Ford moves on with it. Like others the Lightning was too big, would not fit in my garage. The Rivian barely did. Our other car is an EV, but would love a smaller sportier EV in the garage with it. Do it Ford!

full electric will not work for me, though is interesting. I'm waiting on Ford Mav for 28 as should be a full update, not cosmetic plus as the 25 was. PHEV Ecoboost AWD is what I am interested in. Still would be able to pull my snowmobile trailer on ICE with mostly electric usage when running errands around town. A similar setup Ranger (using the 2.3) is already available in Europe so the technology is available to do this.

The 2025 is not a cosmetic plus. The hybrid drivetrain is brand new. The 2.0 EB is a brand new motor. They got upgraded infotainment software.

There will be no PHEV Ecoboost. LOL.
