Does anyone have experience with the Eibach lowering kit? If so did it cause any issues towing. I watched a video online with a guy that lowered his with a coil over kit and it did cause issues. He ended up having to get pretty custom and install airbags. Honestly I don't even want to lower it much. I really just want to bring the rear down to match the fronts height, but I can't find anything out there that does just that.

OEM Lobo rear springs will bring the rear end down about 1". Not really level but it'll be better and they're super cheap IIRC

Same here. I’d like to lower it a bit (that gap between the wheel and body makes me twitch). I do tow a trailer (have the 4K tow pkg) and don’t want to lose towing capacity if I lowered.

What issues?

I have an XL with Silvers coilovers and they're set pretty low with a 5" drop all around (more info on the set up in my build thread here, post #13).

I tow a dolly with my track car on it. I've towed a 13' aluminum trailer with lumber, a load of river rock, and car stuff stuff to/from swap meets.

All loads are around the XL's 2k max. Tows like a dream, never had a problem.

I guess it might depend on your tongue weight? My trailer is aluminum and relatively light, and I also load it carefully with tongue weight always in mind.

When I have a significant load in the bed, or higher tongue weight on the trailer, the rear of the truck does sit lower and reduce the rear tire to fender liner clearance. But since the springs are stiffer than stock, I've only had the occasional rub on a rough road but nothing major. And I've never had any problems or unexpected behavior while towing.

5 inch drop, holy crap! Looks awesome though

PS: To be honest, towing an Atom doesn't really qualify as a "car" 🤣

Mav looks awesome. That Ariel looks spectacular. Must be a beast at the track.

I'm not sure what the issue was exactly. I don't know jack about mechanical things. What I do know is that it sounded horrible. Here's the video, 6:13 is where it starts.

I believe you can put an air bladder inside the coils to pump up when you tow. Just dont remember the company
