I installed the Telemachus module. It was easy to install and it works.

My ‘23 XL reverts to ‘NORMAL’ mode when I shut it off. Is there a way to make it stay in ‘ECO’ mode (or any mode I choose) when I shut it off, until I manually change it?
Sadly no, eco mode saves the brakes big time also.
Just hit ok 2 times and the mode button 4 times

But why Ford? we shouldn't need memory joggers to get the mode we want. The app or the native menus should allow a user default mode, or retain the last one used. Doesn't seem like that would be too hard or expensive.

My 25 asks on the center screen if I want to use the last drive mode setting and shows what it was.

Can't think of anything more annoying than having to baby sit the throttle in ECO mode when it's not needed. This isn't a golf cart. Headed down a hill and still have to goose it. I use ECO with cruise control and in heavy traffic. Sometime I think the truck is broken and see it's still in ECO mode. Back to Normal is a relief.

Does it retain the last mode or revert to normal if you do not hit yes?

You have to click okay to retain your last driving mode otherwise it will go back to normal mode.

Reverts to normal
Kind of a pain, cause the seat belt ok light comes on, and you have to click it, but not as big a pain as getting to a different mode than the 22

Parents have a Maverick. I have a Bandit. The Bandit is faster.

I asked the same about a modern BMW, and the response was due to EPA regs, the car had to start in normal mode (I guess the catalytic converter gets to temp faster on Norm?).

Is Normal better for MPG in city and Eco better for highway?
