With just a few inches of snow or a lightly coated road I just leave it in NORMAL. If the snow starts piling up I've had good luck with SLIPPERY mode.

got to play in the snow last night with my Trem in a few different parking lots ;) we got a few inches here in MD.. slippery mode with 4wd lock was like a cheat code to not slip, just blasting the highway with no issues, but the throttle response is nil... sand mode is fun if you want to slide it around... leave your traction control on unless you want to have fun..

All in all, this truck feels super balanced as i slid it around the lot.. 10/10 will do again.

I put my Mav in slippery mode. The throttle response is just fine for me...it is not a race to get home, especially in winter.

I just drive in normal mode. I don't like the dumbed down throttle response. It goes just fine in normal. Just got another 6" of snow last night. Those modes are for the shitty tires they put on and for people that don't know how to drive in the snow. (Go ahead let me have it)i had mine go into a slide down hill after just touching the brakes sending me into on coming traffic. I had the wheel cut but lost throttle couldn't drive out of it. Every light came on at once. Traction control stability track, hill hold and cross traffic avoidance as the cars came at me. Like the truck just gave up and said" we're dead bye" Luckily i took the snow bank. I blame the tires. But it drove right out. 23k and two winters on mine. Tires make the difference. Put snows on it and it becomes a tractor that can stop and steer in an emergency.

Slippery here in Southwest Michigan where every road is ice. Get stuck I use trailering mode and traction control off. Yes I've been playing,

Should you leave traction control on or off?
You definitely want it ON for normal driving, but should consider shutting it off if trying to get unstuck, or avoid getting stuck if going slowly in deeper snow.
