Does anyone else in here find themselves putting your lobo in sport mode all the time? I love this little truck its so fun to drive and even stock handles so well. I have the burger JB4 tuner on mine and i find my self constantly filling with 4 gals of E85 and topping it off with 91. I wish we had 93 out of the pump here in central cali but california gas is crap. The truck is fun to blast around town and even funner when i head up to the mountains and rail it around corners. I cant wait to do some suspension mods to help handling a little more. I have 3500 miles on it just did a full service…
There aren’t that many Lobo owners on the forum - so even posting on the ā€œLoboā€ sub forum will bring out useful info that is not really Lobo specific:)

I do plan to do an early RDU fluid change like you did - followed by the PTU and transmission. They take a bit more stress on the Lobo (&Tremor?) than the ā€œnormalā€ EB powertrain. Especially when continually driving in Sport Mode like we both do yay!

I’m seriously considering the Ford Performance Garage intercooler upgrade for my Lobo. Living in the desert I hope to notice the couple extra horsepowers:)

Never could figure why some never exceed 3000 rpm, then complain about carbon buildup and turbo problems!
Mind explaining "Replaced stock oils with ams" has me thinking Amsoil. I have a Tremor ordered and use Amsoil in my 2017 F150 but Amsoil SS at my last change did not have the latest specification listed WSS-M2C971-A1.
Yeah Amsoil.

Sad to say I have the GPF on my truck. Some of the exhausts on the market won’t work with it according to the manufacturers. They say it will throw a code. I contacted a few manufacturers of GPF deletes just like the O2 deletes on the market but no plans on making one for the Mav yet. I’m really curious about the ford turbo upgrade when it comes out they say it will be CARB legal. Here in Cali I have to play it safe or no smog cert. I will probably lean towards more handling upgrades for now. Getting on the freeway and it’s one the tight loops that’s banked perfect I love to hammer the throttle and watch my wife try to hold on. This truck reminds me of my 91 Honda Civic Hatch I had setup for SCCA. Just plain fun. Oh there is a guy that sells those little add on plugs for the bed of the truck that let you charge your phone or whatever and they are fast charge. I tossed him some money and bought 3 1 for me 2 for my uncle. I wasn’t sure if I would ever use them but nice to have. Today the wife and I used it. We take my Dad bowling on Sat and Sun. When we got there I backed the truck up so we could sit on the tailgate and she noticed she forgot to charge her phone as usual. So I grabbed the cord and we plugged it in and charged it while waiting for the bowling alley to open. Shit worked great. I think it will come in handy charging my drone and GoPro also.

I’m sure the Ford Performance Exhaust would work fine. It is made for the the MY 2025 & 2026 that have GPF’s.

Almost all (all?) aftermarket catbacks mount well behind the CAT/GPF. Can’t imagine they would throw a code - but may be illegal in CA.

I think the GPF is just another reason to do Italian Tuneups more often to burn the soot! That is a plus in my book:)

Doing your Italian tuneups @ 5000 rpm, you don’t keep the rpm’s up that high for long, or does ā€œPepperā€ like it long! šŸ˜‰ Seriously tho, 5-10 seconds? šŸ¤”
5, 10, 15 seconds then throttle back and repeat several times.
The object of the game is to burn carbon.
I’m not sure if holding 5200 is as important as repeating full acceleration.

Another fun thing s being first at a light and standing on it up to the speed limit.
I’ve got one stop light I can go WOT to 60-65 mph.

The fun part about that is the people who try and hang with me or go past me.
Most everyone gives up about 50-55 in the sixty zone.
Wimps.
Or they don’t want to be seen getting whipped by a 4 banger. :’P

I envy your aggressiveness! I’m always in last place leaving the stoplight. Timid because stop light T-Bones are not uncommon in my neck of the woods.

I do have a favorite 4-Way stop sign on a 50mph speed limit road however. Make sure coast is clear right, left, and forward - then go WOT until 65mph+. So much fun:)

Sometimes the ECU/TCU will upshift before I do with my paddles in manual mode. Oh well - they know best I guess.

Occasionally it will prevent me from downshifting when the rev match is too high:) The gear indicator turns red meaning ā€œno money shifts allowed big fellaā€
Anyway, I usually let the ECU/TCU do all my downshifts. Sequentially - it does not skip gears.
