I'm still new to the Lobo world; I haven't even used sport mode once. I have however used Lobo mode often enough - is there actually some documented difference between the two?

Sport mode is a carryover from regular Maverick models. In my experience, it doesn't produce a noticeable amount of torque vectoring, if at all. The transmission shift logic is also far less aggressive than Lobo mode.

This is my experience also after driving for a year.

I prefer the shift logic of Sport.

I prefer the tighter steering & full time AWD of Lobo. The torque vectoring is definitely noticeable on twisty roads.

Lobo Mode maybe 1 or 2 mpg’s lower than Sport Mode. Every ride I make the choice depending on my mood. If I have a passenger (rarely) it will be Sport with automatic shifting;)

Documentation in the owners manual is minimal. Treat it like a “trade secret” and use AI, forums, YouTube vids, and personal experience to piece it together:)

Unlike the first rule of the “Fight Club”, the Lobo Club will blather on willingly.

The best mod I have found so far is swapping the wheels on my Lobo.
Went from the stock turbofan wheels and tires at 52.7 lbs per wheel/tire to 19 x 8 Fast Wheels Flow formed FC08 wheels and 41.1 lbs per Wheels/tire. The turning reponse and acceleration is very noticeably better. Couldn't believe I could shave 11.6 lbs per corner.
Don't mind the dirtiness of the truck.😊

From what ive read you don't want to run a full tank of E85. Run a blend of E85 and Premium. So states 93 Octane is available out of the pump. In my area we can only get 91. So 4 gallons of E85 and then top the tank off with premium and you get 93 octane. Also 4 Gallons of E85 at a $2.30 per gallon makes the fillup way cheaper.
Why don't you want to run a full tank o E85?
Just curious, I'd prefer no alcohol.

A little ethanol can make the Ecoboost run better, cooler combustion, more anti-knock! Do not know if I'd mess with mixing I just ues the highest octane listed with a 10%-15% mix out the pump.
