  1. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

Still have a higher clearance under the truck. And the steps are more like rock rails down the side. They are not low enough to use as steps. Plus the lift will alow me to add larger tires without rubbing increasing the clearance even more than the lift itself
  2. Very expensive to insure the Maverick

I only pay $107 a month for 3 cars and a motorcycle with state farm. One of those is the maverick
  3. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

Not sure the minor lift caused the problem. Even with the lift the angle of the axels would be not different than if I towed or carried a truck full of people all the time. Just in the opposite direction. In fact the lift could have even helped with the angle since a lot of my miles have been on...
  4. Taking a moment - Hail damage on 3 week old 2024 Maverick Lariat

I fell the pain. I had mine a week opened the tailgate, jumped in the back. My weight on the tailgate pushed it into the hitch. Denting the tailgate. While waiting for the dentless repair a week later a rotten tree limb fell out of a tree in the parking lot as i watched and onto the...
  5. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

Yes both my front axels where just replaced under warranty. The passenger side started clicking at 8000 miles.
  6. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

The passenger side front axel has went bad on my tremor after 8,000 miles. They are going to warranty it. It started popping in December but only when the temp is below freezing, only when trurning right, and only within the first 1/2 mile in the morning. It's like the grease is the wrong...
  7. Tremor MPG after lift kit

I went nearly 500 miles on a single tank. So lets call it 480/15=32 mpg. I think fords estimate was pessimistic on this occasion
  8. Tremor MPG after lift kit

I set the adaptive cruise to the speed limit. If it was 65 then 65 if it was 70 then 70. I didn't super cruise it. My expedition did 14 mpg on the same trip last year. I will take doubling the gas mileage every time.
  9. Tremor MPG after lift kit

I traveled from east tennessee to gulf shores Alabama. It's a 2024 tremor with the 2" lift lift. I had it loaded down with all luggage, gear for over a week plus a fishing cart attached to the rear. It averaged 29mpg over the trip down including in town to the rental house and leaving my house...

  11. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

  12. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

A suspension lift raises everything up and body lift(not possible on the maverick) only raises the body all the drive train would still be the same height
  13. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

Thanks they definitely don't hang down more than the lift bring the truck up so at the worst it was a wash vs factory height on the break over clearance. I gained the protection of the bars against objects that might hit the rockers/door bottoms
  14. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

I can replace them myself if it happens. I'm sure the angle will reduce the life span...or it could be that your able to do more with it so you did more than it was designed for. Who knows I wouldn't expect them to cover the cv joints after I modified the angle but it would be nice if they did...
  15. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

A little They hang down about 1 .5 inches. It looks like more in the photo but its really the angle. I got them not for steps (it's not that high) but to protect the rockers from rocks and stumps. The places I go have some off camber slopes and they can get slick. I have slid off and hit...
  16. Lifted Maverick Tremor (on 2" Rough Country Lift Kit)

Not sure if it will hurt them in any significant way. Im sure it doesnt help. Perfectly straight would be the best. If they were at an extreme angle it would definitely hurt them, but at 2" of lift there is hardly any difference in the angle.
