Guessing some inquiring of auto seat adjustment memory at push of button. Would be cool to have that if multiple drivers, like big fella and lil wife.

Our Escape Titanium has the auto seat AND outside mirrors adjustment. Door has 3 buttons, programmable, to do that. In my old F250, wife has to adjust the seat, all mirrors and steering wheel. Royal PIA for me to readjust. In the Escape, pushing a button does it all. I don’t touch the inside mirror, just tilt my head to see onto rear. Leave it as is for the royal highness gal. It’s her vehicle.

I'm writing this as an old lady. I didn't know auto dimming was a thing. In my day, when the lights behind me were bright I simply flipped the rear view mirror. Was/is really a simple thing to do and no electronics/special programming etc. involved.

Our $50k Sienna didn't have them. That kinda PO'd me. But we bought the Woodland and not the highest end whatever rare metal model. (Platinum/Titanium/WTF#ckium)
I miss the days limited meant fully loaded. They started come up with some BS terms like platinum calligraphy titanium presidential biden obama trump bush idk list goes on

Auto dimming rear view mirror is easier for those folks that happen to have long legs, but shorter torso and arms. With their seat pushed back to accommodate their legs and steering wheel extended. Having an auto dimming rear view mirror means. They don't have to pull themselves forward to flip the mirror because it's just out of reach.

Did not know auto dimming side mirrors were even a thing. I never had an auto dimming mirror that was as responsive as a flick of my fingers. Auto dimming side mirrors would be more useful IMO.
The 2014 Fusion I had before the Maverick had them. Basically tied into the rearview mirror's sensor to command them to dim at the same time. Very nice feature if you drive a lot of 4/5-lane roads or highways since you don't get an eyeful of headlight when you check the blindspot or in the periphery of your vision (unless one's a left lane hog, I guess).

I guess that "supposed to" part kinda dissolved away with 2025 price increaee
Not dissolved, when you compare it to all other new trucks available now. It's still low-end, but entry level truck prices have all gone up across all brands. Memory seats would just be more lipstick on an entry-priced pig.

Ford has always had a limit on the number of luxury items they'll add to an entry level vehicle line. Certain items are reserved for higher model lines.
It's how they've operated for decades.

The manual dimmable mirror on the Maverick is the only one of several I've had over my life time that seems to be a long reach, I don't know if it's the windshield rake or I'm just getting old. A state of the art automatic one would be nice and should have been standard on the Lariat and available on the XLT.

It's a longer reach because Mavericks windshield is more vertical. Putting the top part of it further away than say the Ford Escape it has a much larger and raked windshield.. if it were light out I would take photographs of the difference.

Cuz I assumed it would be more convenient for folks rather than commenting
Just got my 2025 lariat 2 days ago and I can confirm it DOES NOT have memory seats

For me, easy entry&exit is a must, hence, I look for cars with a memory seat function. Does higher trims (eg lariat) have that? Given the new price point (upper $30k), they should really have it but I cannot find any info on this anywhere...

Just as heated steering wheel was a Must Have for me.
Sadly, the Maverick not having memory seats or easy in and out makes the Maverick a No Buy for the OP "option_gambler".
I fully understand.

There is no memory seats or easy entry feature. You'd have to step up to an F-150 for that. The Mavericks don't even have power passenger seats.

I don't believe any trim levels have memory seats. I have a 2024 Lariat and it does not have that feature.
Remember, it's was suppose to be an inexpensive, low end truck.

you can get adaptive cruise in the second to bottom Escape and a Ranger XLT but for a Maverick you've got to be in a lariat (lux).

it'll stay this way until there's a meaningful competitor.
