Hold anything credit card sized. I don't have one in my Lariat Tremor but when I test drove one with that slot so I pulled out my drivers license and credit card and it fits just fine.

There is a chip reader in there.
It's for the folks that are on the
"Pay As You Drive Plan." (Kind of like the quarter meter plan)
Before they can start their Maverick. They have to insert their credit card. When they are done driving they can pull it out. 😁
It's also used to make your monthly payment.

Actually it is going to eventually be a card reader for CA. They will have a per mile fee and you won't be able to drive a car without a valid credit card plugged in.
