That's great. I thought about doing something like this because I had to bring home a couple of 16' 2x6s home from the home center to fix a fence. I gave it some thought and rented a trailer instead. If I hadn't rented a trailer, I would still be working on a design, and my fence wouldn't be fixed yet.

The turn buckles are what's really clever in my mind. I wouldn't have thought about that.

Where did you attach the ropes in the front?

I picked the lowest and widest part of the plastic grill, not everybody's favorite option but it's strong enough

There is a better option though... there are strap to attach on the fenders, under the hood the look perfect! I've never bought them yet, but probably should
