Discount tire and Alignment

Discount Tire is telling me that they can't do an alignment on my Maverick because "all Mavericks have lane departure system" my 22 xlt does not have lane departure.


Update: apparently the collison camera needs to be re calibrated with an alignment as well.....

Update 2: checked with the dealer, the collision camera does not need to be recalibrated.

The camera only needs to be recalibrated when replacing the windshield.

FIRESTONE had no problem doing my alignment and the LIFETIME ALIGNMENT for $200 was too good to pass up.Discount tire quoted me $120 to switch out some tires-when I went back it was $256!-CYA

Just a friendly FYI...Supposedly, if you have a Costco membership, Discount Tire eill waive their installation fee...

well,it didn't need an alignment(after lowering it,thought it might need one but not even the camber was off) plan on keeping for a while and thought it was a pretty good deal

careful with the firestone lifetime alignment. They are just doing a quick toe-in go not a full wheel alignment.

What made you decide your Maverick needed a front alignment?

The steering was more floaty than it used to be at 70mph+. And the inner edge of the tires were wearing a little more.
