Here's an example video of the illumination to expect when these fog lights are installed and adjusted correctly. I've seen lots of photos of the installation process and the final result on the car, but I haven't seen any examples of how well they actually work on the road.
I used an F-150 switch module to activate the lights, and the BCM handles power. Only had to run two wires through the firewall, one for each light, and they're grounded in the engine compartment near the coolant reservoir. I chopped up the harness that came with the kit so I could use the wire loom. The rest went in my salvage bucket. I don't like the look of the backlights, and I hate using T-taps, so I just cut and sealed off the backlight wires on the pigtails. No extra wires running to the battery, no relay module hanging somewhere, all connections crimped and sealed with shrink tubing. Nice and tidy, no chance of any corrosion, and they look factory.
