I got Lariat Lux for the Sirius Radio. Yes, I paid $20,000 for it. I wanted it and I got it. No worries. Happy Motoring.
So I got free Sirius with my lariat first edition. Got 3 months free. Am listening to mainly one station. Friend set up to be able to switch to a couple others fairly easy. I can switch to those fairly easy if I get tired of one. So after about a month I get letter offering additional 90 days free (may have been for upgrade more expensive deal). Was either $2 or $5 for the extra 3 months. Now I got another letter for a "music and entertainment" package only for $5/month for one year which switches to the then current package price using credit card I have to give number for now unless I cancel before the year is up. Nothing mentions if I have to buy a wi-fi data plan to receive Sirius. Anyway I don't know if background music is worth $5/month much less a higher amount for something I might listen to 1-3 times a month. They also don't say what the "entertainment" is and if you can or cannot be entertained while driving or do you have to be parked?

If you have a VIN your dealer should be able to tell the build date - I think that's correct.
The dealer says my build date is "TBD" = TO BE DETERMINED = Build date is when actual build is started"🤔 = they got tired of people complaining when they had to notify people that their build date has been changed!

I have to laugh when people complain that the XL doesn't have this or that. My first car was a '64 Volkswagen bug. It had crank windows, a manual transmission. an AM only radio, a non-carpeted rubber floor, and even the window washer worked with a hose connected to the spare tire in the trunk, (which of course was up front), manual everything, and cruise control had never even been heard of.
Sure this is 2022 and we've come a long ways. You can have all the doodads and maybe they're important to you. I'm just happy they are able to put out a decent little truck available under $25k. I'm fine with making some sacrifices to get something new at that price point.

I have not gotten any email vin or date. You must have gotten your email after they made the announcement of no more build week emails but before they actually implemented not sending them. My dealer called me and told me I had been assigned a vin and the date showed "TBD" (TO BE DETERMINED). I get text every Friday that date still shows "TBD"!🤗

For those of us that are trying to squeeze mpg from hybrid maverick.
Went to town last Saturday for 5 gal diesel for my 1986 Ford 1210 tractor and cringing at $5.29/gallon saw at the adjacent pump a new F350 super duty diesel pickup (I think the guy said it had 48 gallon tank) being fueled up which was towing a triple axle boat trailer. The boat (30+ footer?) was an inboard with about a 16-18" prop and was being fueled at the same time from the next set of pumps. The boat trailer had dealer tags on trailer which had never been wet yet! The price of 87 was $4.29. I did not look to see what octane wass going into boat's tank!

That guy does not have to worry about the MPG or the cost of a gallon of diesel!💰

Cruise is the only one that really mattered to me. Had the XL had cruise I wouldn't have ordered the XLT. All the other options are just something else to eventually go wrong... Not soon I hope but I keep my rides 200k.....

You don't need wifi or a data plan for Sirius. It comes directly from a satellite. It will work without any wifi or phone towers. Not underground though. I use only Ch 76 car and home. Works for me.

Good to know. It would be nice if they had a $12-$20/year 3-6 channel plan but it would be such a pain to select them. I may see what 76 is, thanks.

I went with the XL because I didn't like the XLT trim. But I knew I would add the after market cruise and replace the steel wheels with Bronco sport wheels. So I have less than 1K in those addons. I really like the little truck, averaging 27 mpg. Its been exactly what I needed/wanted. I only wished I ordered one much sooner.
