Did you or will you add mudflaps?

I added them since sometimes I drive down a caliche road and if it happens to be raining - well - caliche is like adobe cement and it is murder on paint and tough to wash off..

I got some. They are hard plastic not rubber. The kind that goes into the factory holes with plastic push pins.

I do not like them.
Too close to the ground and they scrape on the ground going over speed bumps or V channels or while entering or exiting some driveways while just half-way loaded or more.
Generally ok when truck is empty.

I regret buying them. Some push pins have fallen out but they came with extras so I have been able to repair.

In the future I will only buy soft rubber ones that can bend.

When I ordered mine in March 2024, there was an option. Yes, I checked the box. No regrets so far!

liked mine fine,OTH during the month of ice they got broken on the front,rear are still fine,really enjoy my added hitch,that little truck is as handy as a shirtpocket!

I've had three sets on mine.

The first were Maxzina brand, and they had great coverage but looked really blocky. If anyone wants these for the price of shipping, DM me.

Next I bought RallyArmor universal flaps and custom cut and fit them. The fit and coverage was great, but the material wasn't rigid enough.

Now I have a set of Rockblokz, and they're perfect. They're rigid enough while still flexible enough to give when they need to. They have durable stainless screw-in mounting points vs all plastic push pins that others have. Finally, IMO they look much better than any of the other Amazon brand options.

Added the Mabett mud flaps when I installed the Mabett fender flairs easy installation

Like Len, I put on the Mabett fender flares and mud flaps at the same time.
That's likely why they give you some longer push clips - They fit where both the flares and flaps share a common pin hole.

They fit great together and all of the pins go right back into the factory holes.
Easy peasey.

Like some others, flaps and flares are not an optional accessory when you drive on dirt for miles EVERY time you drive the truck. The flaps are a great combination of strong and flexible.

Both the flaps and the flares do a great job of keeping the rocks, dust and mud at bay, which is why I installed them, as I primarily do mods for practical reasons.

In this case the cosmetic benefit was an added plus.

Another added plus - They do absolutely no damage to the truck's paint unlike the Ford OEM's noted in the video below. They also likely cost a LOT less.
For both flaps and flares it was ~ $165 including delivery and tax.

Keeps the lower door panels cleaner and keeps rocks from chipping the paint.

That greed is worth protecting !
