WaxOyl is a great product to use. Like Fluid Film, it creeps everywhere. But the difference is that once it is done creeping / cured, it does not wash off. It somewhat solidifies to a bee’s wax consistency and stays in place for years. Now if you live in a hot climate like the desert southwest...
Well in my particular case, it’s to replace the 20A fuse for the USB ports in the front console storage area. We’re on a very long (7k mile ) trip that lasts for almost a month and we need those ports to charge cell phones for Navigation.
Odd that the fuse would pop just charging an iPhone, but...
yeah - I knew the 12v battery was under the seat. I just downloaded Ford’s PDF manual (which is different from their HTML web based version).
You’re right about the location.
Someone at Ford needs to have their PeePee slapped hard with a wooden ruler for this EFF-up!
Probably the same moron...
Does anyone have an actual photo of the underhood fuse box location For the 2026 HYBRID?? I’ve done the Google and other searchs and the AI BS all tell you to look under the hood by the battery. There’s no fricken battery under the hood of a hybrid!

My .02 worth follows and I hope it doesn’t put a kink in anyone’s colon…
I’m as guilty as the next guy who wants that little special “trick” feature they can add to their vehicles.
We drool over all the coolness of LED lighting, particularly that of the new‘ish tubular looking lights and of...
Thanks - As i said earlier - I‘m just finishing the shop and moving into it. It’s not nearly as pristine as in the photo above right now… LOL
Your friends place sounds like a huge slice of heaven!
I did something similar as I had been considering taking the truck to Discount Tire to have a tire balance issue addressed. If you’ve ever been there, they get 4 guys all with floor jacks pretending they’re NASCAR Tire Changers and they’re just gonna throw those jacks anywhere they think is...
I had to buck the system and put a Ford Small Block in my 33 Ford Street Rod when I built it…. It was the “right” way to do it in my opinion…. It also has rear sump.
We traded in an 8 month old 2025 Rubicon Unlimited on our Maverick. The Jeep was an absolutely terrible traveling vehicle and we do a number of 1,000+ mile trips per year and we’re both in our 70’s so the lane assistance and more comfortable ride is very important to us. Sorry to hear about...
