Looks pretty minor, you're lucky. Hope you're fixed up & back on the road soon. 🤠
Agreed. Hope you weren’t hurt.

Hit a deer this morning on the way to work. I’ve included pics of the aftermath and the estimate to fix. Also not pictured is my hood that is now misaligned with a massive gap on the drivers side.

Deer meat, barbecue
No air bags deployed?
Take a second opinion at the Ford body shop
120$ or more an hour, they charged me 120 to slip a couple of brake pads and never even used the new hardware( it was in there for a recall anyway( no more of my business for them) that type of stuff hurts a retiree.

Dude, that seems pretty miraculous you got through with such relatively minor damage. I hit a deer once in the early 00s and it totaled my truck. Ever since my primary truck for deer lease, fishing, just general Texas backroads looks like this:

Bible says put on the full armor of the Lord. I take that quite literally. Deer meet Mr. Ranch Hand. Deer no longer total truck.
put a ranch hand on a Maverick,c'mon I dare you any thing you paste on a Maverick will do more damage in a collision then the deer its self,if a Maverick had some real steel in the front it would help,it would be better made of thick urethane( I have checked there's nothing there, thin guage tin wont hold much, the local body shop had this problem when trying to put pushbars on explorers.

Pretty sure there isn't one that would fit. Nor would they ever make one. I was merely commenting that a deer totaled my F150, prompting me to take these measures - Just pretty amazing how well OPs little Mav came through by comparison.

Pretty sure those push bars you can get for the Mav would likely do more damage to the frame than the deer. Just pretty amazing how well OP's truck came through.

my Maverick had a suicidal deer blur,it came out of nowhere there was crap all over the front end, most damage was a cracked grill and most things popped back out the grill was cracked and I can live with it,I figure the next deer strike will do real damage,we live in a harsh world at times, the first thing was a large rock that almost come through the windshield( I think some concealed kids or a prick was throwing rocks at traffic,)the rock would have came through except for the plastic laminate, the dash was covered with glass splinters, went to Safelite near Harrisonburg to replace it,there was a tiny time error and they wouldn't do it that day( no more business for those pricks) had local guy do it and saved around$600( businesses never think you are exceptional-you will get shot out of the saddle)

Venison! 🦌YES!

Jerry
You can't beat Venison or Moose meat for flavour. Grew up in a rural northern area, and my dad bagged one moose and one deer every season. That took care of our winter meat needs.

Dear @BreadPitt86,

Please be advised that this office represents said deer and his family for injuries you inflicted upon him.

In addition to debilitating back pain from ruptured disks, he as severe psychological injuries and cannot show his face in public due to humiliation from his broken antlers.

I am extending an offer, expiring two weeks from this letter, to settle for the sum of $876,543. Failure to pay this amount in said period will result in immediate and expensive litigation.

Sincerely,
@dochawk, esq.
