Glad that you appear satisfied pulling a fuse and thus eliminating features that we paid for. Glad you are happy turning a hybrid vehicle into a plug in electric vehicle. We paid for things that Ford advertised as desirable features but the problem they have acknowledged keeps those features from functioning. Also. If we had wanted a plug in electric car, we would have bought one.I completely sympathize with the OP's comments. It is very frustrating when you feel there is a problem and it isn't being addressed. However as others have noted I don't know that Ford has even officially acknowledged there is a problem with the 12v system which is a problem in and of itself. We know they monitor these forum and they have a fantastic social media team and some great people that work for them. I have been impressed with most of the interactions I have seen. I am curious if anyone had put the team in the loop and tried to get some answers about this concern over the 12v system. I mean they have to know they just replaced a bunch of batteries already and switched manufacturers. That does not seem to have addressed the issue. So maybe we need to use a different tactic to get their attention.
I know my work around right out of the gate is going to be pull F11 fuse, and put it on a battery tender between drives until I see an all clear here on MTC. There has to be a way to escalate with Ford to see what they have to say. If they are working the issue then just say that, but something is better than nothing.
