I started to see some dealerships get dealer stock AWD XL. Really want the Hybrid but a Maverick to be had right now could be tempting at MSRP to avoid a wait and maybe no truck. Any thoughts?

I never wanted the hybrid, so for me an eco AWD is a no brainer. I had ordered a '23 and a '22 with more options than what I had ordered fell into my lap so I bought it. Even at it's lowest fuel average so far (1041 miles) I get 27. Which I won't complain about. So I am good. When/if my '23 ever gets built and shows up, I will trade the '22 for it and still be happy I got an AWD eco. It was a better situation for me to go ahead and get something else to drive, than to keep putting miles on my Mustang.

Por que no los dos? Buy the AWD EB now and trade it later for the hybrid.

I wanted AWD and if they had offered a Hybrid AWD I would've gotten it. I'll be in line to trade my Ecoboost AWD for a Hybrid AWD if they ever make one.

If you need a vehicle, I would probably go ahead and get the AWD XL or whatever ya find within your budget and trade it in or sell it when the Hybrid version you want is in hand. I would assume a Hybrid is going to be a pretty long wait.

I'm happy with my ECO AWD, and I'm averaging 29 MPG on 89 octane in mixed driving. Not so bad. Love the AWD, which I very much need. Also love the independent suspension, which is a step up from the hybrid.
