Sucks.....
Not fair as being the customer I did everything right and assumed dealership could too. Especially since dealership had maverick i was able to sit in before I ordered. They had to know how to order. I am starting to be suspicious now....

Your order will not be built because the ROVP was not approved.

If you ordered a Hybrid the dealer has screwed you as the date for having the ROVP approved by was long ago on November 17th.
Sounds correct. No maverick for me. Did receive message from salesman that drivers license was missing and now on order. Asked for copy of rovp and he said sales manager in meeting and will get back to me today....
Just to find out more information my wife tweeted Mike Levine ( she has account i do not) to see if he could help out.
Not giving up hope yet.

Sounds correct. No maverick for me. Did receive message from salesman that drivers license was missing and now on order. Asked for copy of rovp and he said sales manager in meeting and will get back to me today....

Dealer called. Some lame excuse about covp, they use that term telling me they are clueless. Ford does not give covp or rovp until manufacturing picks order, but don't worry you have email from Ford confirming order.
Ford is telling them hybrid orders done and mine will probably not make MY22, another lame excuse.
I call bs and tell them sales manager is clueless and didn't do his job. Dealership is dumb, from what salesman said they have a lot of hybrid orders entered incorrectly and disappoint a lot of customers. Ugh

I am sorry for what you have gone through. This sounds 100% DEALER ERROR. I would get all the details you can and write a letter to Mike Levine and CC every VP you can. Be calm, be professional, be detailed. Though the chances are slim, that's your only chance since the Hybrid order books are so long out closed. Maybe there is a slot that could be had because of a future cancellation.

I am sorry for what you have gone through. This sounds 100% DEALER ERROR. I would get all the details you can and write a letter to Mike Levine and CC every VP you can. Be calm, be professional, be detailed. Though the chances are slim, that's your only chance since the Hybrid order books are so long out closed. Maybe there is a slot that could be had because of a future cancellation.

Just called the number and confirmed my order was in the “system”. I had previously been to the dealer and they showed me a printout that my truck was ordered, but it certainly was comforting to hear it on their end. They also gave me my order number and sales code. Sadly, not in production yet…hybrid! Thanks for supplying the phone number and so forth.
I think you kinda missed the point on all this. Your order can be in the system but if it isn’t approved and verified in the ROVP your not getting a truck.

I had a successful convo with Mr Levine. I did post on his Twitter and he got back to me. But that was about a dealer markup of my custom order not ROVP ordering. I don’t think there is anything they can do about that. But worth a try.

New member, long time looking at site. Salesman called today to say order has to be moved to MY23 due to Ford cutting off orders. I am quite upset. Placed order October 21 and received email from Ford next day. I asked salesman for rovp and he did not know. Said they do covp. I asked for copy and am waiting. He also asked for copy of license which I gave at time of order. I called Ford marketing and my order is in their system awaiting scheduling.
My question is the dealer pulling a fast one or did not put in covp or rovp. I am confused as to what each document is. Any insight would help.
I was talking to my dealer on Thursday and he said Ford sent him something that day which said they need to get all of their Maverick orders in by, either that day 27th, or the 29th.
For is cutting off the MY22 orders, don't know why your dealer thinks you would be getting a MY23. . .

Only your dealer can look up your ROVP info. Ford Cust service doesn’t have access to it.
Ford customer service gave me my rovp tracking number and said it was all good.

Call Ford Marketing at 1-800-392-3673. I called them and they confirmed my ROVP was submitted, accepted, and my status was clean. Even gave me the number. Very pleasant to deal with. Bypass the dealer. Seems like salesman don't always have the knowledge or know how on accessing the ROVP.

I understand what you are saying, but why would the Ford corporate customer service have all my vital personal information and truck info if I’m not in the ROVP? Is it then possible that my deposit was an interest free loan to the dealer and I’m waiting for nothing? And, was my order just marketing info for what could have been? In short, I guess I need to call the customer service number again to see if I’m in the ROVP. Thanks. It’s silly though. I placed an order. Gave a deposit. And, am waiting. Maybe for nothing.

Ok so I dont get why dealers would not order your truck or say they ordered it and not ordered it? What's their end game? They sold you a Mav, took a deposit and I assume want a happy customer, so in theory don't they want to deliver your car as soon as they can?
