I ordered my Maverick Lariat Hybrid 1st Edition, Rapid Red back in August and never did receive an email from Ford Verifying my order. I did get the general one stating that it would be next year before it came in. So I contacted Ford via chat and this is what Wendy told me.

Me, The reason I'm anxious, is I pre traded my truck.

Thank you for holding. Your Ford 2022 Maverick status is in Order Processing. The order has been entered into the Ford Ordering System. It will then be scheduled and placed in the first available production week.
The dealer code is F47032. Me, that is confirmation correct/ But time wise, still sometime next year.

Thanks, my point was, the dealer wasn't much help and all I received was a bill of sales.

I placed my order with a new sales guy two weeks ago today. I found out today it was never sent to Ford. Sales guy never gave the order to the Inventory Manager. Order was sent today and I received confirmation from Ford Motor Co soon after. Dealership told me they would discount the price when the car arrives to make up for the mistake.

I did the Build and Price on ford dot com and submitted it. Received an email from Ford indicating that the local dealership would be in touch. I waited a day then contacted them; they said they had not gotten anyting from Ford but someone would call me shortly. I contacted them this morning and got the same answer.
Mid afternoon and nothing, so I said, "Time's up"and called the dealership in another town. I talked to someone knowledgable and should have the Maverick reserved tomorrow morning.

FIngers crossed!

Yes. They said it was ordered. I was doubting it, since received no email
from Ford.

You are purchasing this vehicle from a dealer. NOT from Ford. Ford may or may not provide you with useful info. Your dealer should be the one keeping you informed. Don't be surprised if that doesn't happen. After 3 months I finally realized that all I'm ever going to get out of my dealer is the statement that, "you will get your vehicle." DUH! Very helpful, no?

My dealer will not even email me to tell me he does not have any info if I had known this I would have orderd it from someone else but as far as I can tell from the little info on tracker it is built bad job from everyone keeping there customers informed when they spending all that money with them
